Ingredients – What you need for the S’mores Stuffed Cookies
For the cookies
Flour
We like to use all-purpose flour when it comes to the cookies and for these delicious cookies, you will need 3 1/2 cups. When measuring the flour use a spoon and sift it before adding it to your cookie mixture. When it comes to dry ingredients this is one of the staples you will find in most cookie recipes. Flour provides the base and structure for the cookie dough.
Baking Soda
Baking soda is such an important element to add to the flour mixture. It helps with the rising and the overall shape of the cookie. You only need 1 1/2 tsp for this recipe.
Butter
For this recipe, you need 1 1/3 cups of butter that is softened at room temperature. This recipe calls for salted butter as there is a lot of sweetness with some of the other ingredients so the butter will help balance out those flavors.
Sugar
Sugar will help to give that chewy texture we know and love when it comes to these cookies. For this recipe, you will need 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Both will help produce incredible chewy cookies.
Egg
Three eggs are the perfect addition to get the dough’s texture just right. The egg yolk also helps with the cookies’ chewy texture and golden color.
Vanilla extract
You can’t go wrong with the vanilla flavor of these delicious cookies. You will need 2 tsp of vanilla for this cookie recipe.
Salt
While we may already be using salted butter this recipe really works with that extra savory flavor that salt can bring. Adding just 3/4 tsp will be great.
Chocolate chips
We love a chocolate chip chewy cookie and adding 3 1/2 cups of milk chocolate chips will really transform these cookies to a different level.
The added extras
Mini Marshmallows
What are s’mores cookies if they don’t have that gooey marshmallow center? You need 36 mini marshmallows for this recipe although you could cut up large marshmallows if you can’t get any of the smaller ones.
Hershey’s
You just need one 1 chocolate bar of Hershey’s that has been broken into 12 pieces.
Graham crackers
