Reese peanut butter cookies

With delicious crunchy reese pieces and mini peanut butter cups these peanut butter cookies are sure to be a favorite!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup mini reese peanut butter cups, cut in half *same some for topping
  • 2 cups reese pieces
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda until well combined - set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl beat the butter and sugars until fluffy, add in the peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla and mix well.
  • Stir in the flour mixture, half at a time.
  • Gently fold in the peanut butter cups, reese’s pieces, and chocolate chips, leave some peanut butter cup halves for the tops of cookies once they are out of the oven.
  • Chill the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Scoop dough onto the lined baking sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Cool slightly on the pan, top some cookies with reserved peanut butter cup halves, then move cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
