Hershey’s Holiday Kisses 2026: A New Strawberry Sugar Cookie Flavor, The Snickerdoodle Returns, And Both Are Meant For Baking

Hershey’s Strawberry Sugar Cookie Kisses are new for the 2026 holidays, and Snickerdoodle Cookie Kisses are back. The Hershey Company announced its holiday lineup on Thursday, November 5, and it names both cookie-flavored Kisses as picks for holiday baking. They’re on sale for a limited time at participating stores nationwide through the holiday season, with prices set by each retailer.

For bakers, that means two new options for the candy that tops a Kiss cookie.

The new one: Strawberry Sugar Cookie Kisses

The full name is Hershey’s Kisses Cindy-Lou Who Strawberry Sugar Cookie. It’s a limited-edition flavor inspired by Cindy-Lou Who from Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, and Hershey describes it as pairing strawberry and sugar cookie notes. The Kisses come in holiday foils in a 7.8-ounce bag.

These aren’t milk chocolate. The bag calls them strawberry-flavored creme and cookies, and the ingredients on Hershey’s product page include wheat flour and baking soda but no cocoa or chocolate. Hershey lists milk, soy and wheat as allergens and says to check each package for the current ingredients.

The returning one: Snickerdoodle Cookie Kisses

Snickerdoodle Kisses are on Hershey’s list of returning favorites. Hershey describes warm snickerdoodle cookie flavor in seasonal foils, sold in an 8-ounce bag, and its product page pitches the candy for baking, gifting or eating on its own. Like the strawberry version, it’s a creme candy: its ingredient list has no cocoa or chocolate. Hershey lists milk and soy as allergens.

Putting them on a Kiss cookie

Our Hershey’s Kiss Cookies are a sugar cookie: butter, sugar, an egg, milk and vanilla, with the dough balls rolled in sugar and a little red sanding sugar. The Kiss goes in after baking. Each cookie comes out of the oven, gets a Kiss pressed into the center, then cools on a rack. A strawberry sugar cookie Kiss on top of a sugar cookie is the most obvious match in the lineup.

For a softer base, our Soft and Chewy Sugar Cookies use melted butter and brown sugar and bake until the edges are just golden and the centers still look soft. That recipe doesn’t call for Kisses, so a Kiss on top is an add-on rather than part of the recipe.

The Snickerdoodle Kisses have a natural home on classic snickerdoodles. Ours get cream of tartar in the dough, a roll in cinnamon sugar and a gentle press to flatten the tops before baking. A Kiss isn’t part of that recipe either, but it could go on the same way as on the Kiss cookies, right after the tray comes out.

One thing to know first: Hershey hasn’t said how the creme Kisses hold up on a warm cookie, and they aren’t the milk chocolate Kiss most recipes are written for. Pressing one onto a test cookie before doing the whole tray is the safe move.

The rest of Hershey’s holiday lineup

Hershey’s Hugs come in Max the Dog foils, and KIT KAT Santa returns with his reindeer. Reese’s Reindeer Mix combines milk chocolate-drizzled popcorn, Reese’s baking chips, Reese’s Mini Trees and Reese’s Pieces, and Hershey counts it among its holiday baking picks too. Reese’s Peanut Butter Trees, Reese’s Mini Trees, KIT KAT Peppermint Stick and a six-pack of Grinch Hershey’s milk chocolate bars are back. The salty side adds SkinnyPop Elf Maple Syrup Kettle Corn and LesserEvil Himalayan Sweetness Popcorn. A limited-edition Hershey’s Kisses gift-wrapping foil kit goes on sale at shop.hersheys.com/holiday on Cyber Monday, November 30.

Samantha Siegal, Hershey’s senior director of marketing, said the lineup pairs “familiar favorites with playful flavors, new formats and sweet-and-salty choices.”
