Nine Years After Two Cousins Opened A Shop In Logan, Utah, That Baked Only Chocolate Chip Cookies, Crumbl Rings In Cozy Season With Its Pumpkin Chocolate Chip And Cinnamon Roll Cookies

Crumbl’s menu for the week of October 5, 2026, is built for fall. Six limited-time desserts, led by a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie and a Cinnamon Roll Cookie, are on sale through Saturday, October 10. “Cozy season has officially arrived at Crumbl,” the chain’s home page says. It is a long way from the menu Crumbl opened with nine years ago, which had one cookie on it.

One cookie, one shop, 2017

Crumbl’s own history says cousins Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley created it in 2017 while trying to bake the perfect chocolate chip cookie, then opened their first location in Logan, Utah.

Logan’s Herald Journal visited the shop a week before it opened, in September 2017. The paper reported that the store at 540 S. Main would bake only chocolate chip cookies to start, made with milk chocolate chips and sold four to a bright pink box for $9.99. “Our whole business is this cookie,” Hemsley, then a Utah State University senior, told the paper. That cookie has a version here: our Copycat Crumbl Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Crumbl marked its ninth birthday in September 2026. Its birthday announcement counted nearly 1,200 locations across all 50 states, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.

What’s on the menu through October 10

Crumbl’s site marks six desserts “This Week Only”:

  • Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie: a pumpkin spice cookie with semi-sweet chocolate chips. Our own Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies are not a Crumbl copy; they get their flavor from pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice and browned butter.
  • Cinnamon Roll Cookie: a vanilla sugar cookie with cinnamon streusel and a swirl of vanilla cream cheese frosting. Our Cinnamon Roll Cookies take a different route, with bits of cinnamon-sugar filling in the dough and a vanilla glaze on top. We also have a Copycat Crumbl Cinnamon Square, modeled on a different Crumbl dessert: a cake square swirled with brown sugar and cinnamon under cream cheese frosting.
  • White Drop Cookie ft. Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme: a cookie with cookies and cream chunks, topped with melted Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme, white drop pieces and a piece of the candy bar. Our Cookies and Cream Cookies work the same flavor with Oreos, in the dough and in the vanilla frosting.
  • Biscoff Ice Cream Cookie: a brown sugar cookie under buttercream made with Biscoff cookie butter, finished with Biscoff pieces.
  • Raspberry Cheesecake: vanilla cheesecake on a graham cracker crust, with raspberry spread and whipped cream.
  • Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie ft. Reese’s Pieces: a fudge brownie with chopped Reese’s Pieces, peanut butter frosting and a milk chocolate drizzle.

Two classics, the Chocolate Chip Cookie and the Pink Sugar Cookie, are listed as always available.

No debut on this menu

None of the six is new. Crumbl’s site carries no new-recipe label on any of them, and each arrived on the menu with more than 12,000 customer reviews already on its page. Sporked’s rundown of the lineup, published October 5, names no debut and calls the White Drop Cookie a returning favorite. Sporked’s Rachel Jones sums up the theme as “all things cozy.”

Two of the six are not cookies. The Reese’s Pieces brownie is the heaviest item on the menu: Crumbl lists 1,190 calories for a whole one. The Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie is the lightest, at 470.

When the menu changes

The six flavors are on sale Monday, October 5, through Saturday, October 10. Crumbl’s stores close on Sundays, and its site says new and returning flavors drop every Monday, which puts the next menu in stores on Monday, October 12. Crumbl says it posts each lineup on its social media accounts on Sunday at 6 p.m. Mountain time, so the next reveal is due Sunday, October 11.

Crumbl posted this lineup on its Instagram account on October 4.
