Krispy Kreme’s Chocolate Original Glazed Is Back For Three Days, October 20 To 22, In A $5 Taz Dozen When You Buy Any Dozen
Krispy Kreme is bringing back its Chocolate Original Glazed doughnut for three days, from Tuesday, October 20, through Thursday, October 22, 2026, and selling it in a limited-edition Taz Chocolate Original Glazed Dozen that costs $5 with the purchase of any dozen. The deal runs at participating Krispy Kreme shops in the United States. The company announced it on Monday, October 19.
What is in the Taz dozen
The box holds nine Chocolate Original Glazed doughnuts and three new Taz Chocolate Tornado Doughnuts. Krispy Kreme describes the Tornado as a Chocolate Original Glazed doughnut decorated with a green icing tornado swirl, then dipped in chocolate cookie pieces, Halloween sprinkles and rainbow nonpareils. The company says the dozen is inspired by the “wildly unpredictable” Looney Tunes character.
It is the second Taz doughnut on Krispy Kreme’s Halloween menu, and a different one. The Taz Doughnut in the chain’s Looney Tunes Halloween Collection is an unglazed shell filled with Oreo cookies and Kreme, dipped in chocolate icing and Oreo pieces, with green icing drizzles and a mummy Taz sugar piece. Krispy Kreme does not name the cookie in the Tornado’s chocolate pieces.
“For three days only, guests can enjoy the chocolatey glaze they love with a playful Looney Tunes twist,” Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme’s chief brand and product officer, said in the announcement, which calls Chocolate Original Glazed a fan favorite.
How to get the $5 dozen
- In a shop or at the drive-thru: buy any dozen and add a Taz Chocolate Original Glazed Dozen for $5. The limit is two per guest.
- In the Krispy Kreme app or on its website: for pickup and delivery orders, use the promo code BOGO5.
- When: Tuesday, October 20, through Thursday, October 22. Krispy Kreme says the dozen is available for those three days only.
- Where: participating Krispy Kreme shops in the U.S. The release names no other country.

The Taz dozen is part of Krispy Kreme’s Looney Tunes Halloween promotion with Warner Bros. Global Consumer Products. The Looney Tunes Halloween Collection, four doughnuts based on Bugs Bunny, Tweety and Sylvester, Taz and Lola Bunny, has been in shops since October 6, and Krispy Kreme’s website lists it through Saturday, October 31, at participating shops in the U.S. and Canada. The release also lists Krispy Kreme’s Halloween freebie: guests who visit a participating shop in costume on Friday, October 30, or Saturday, October 31, can get a free Original Glazed or Classic Ring doughnut, with no purchase necessary.
