7 Brew Adds Its First-Ever Bakery Menu On November 1, With Blondie, Mocha Brownie And Chocolate Chunk Cookie Bars At $3 Each

7 Brew, the drive-thru coffee chain, is adding food to the order. Starting Sunday, November 1, participating stands sell five baked treats for $3 each, led by three bars: a Blondie Bar, a Brunette Mocha Brownie Bar and a Chocolate Chunk Cookie Bar, the company said in its announcement on October 29. It’s 7 Brew’s first bakery lineup.

Three bars, two named after drinks

Two of the bars borrow their names from 7 Brew drinks.

• Blondie Bar: a soft, gooey bar with vanilla and caramel flavor, finished with a caramel drizzle. It is named for the Blondie, which 7 Brew’s menu lists as a vanilla and caramel breve.
• Brunette Mocha Brownie Bar: a mocha brownie with semi-sweet chocolate chunks and a hint of espresso, named for the Brunette, a hazelnut and caramel mocha.
• Chocolate Chunk Cookie Bar: a soft, chewy cookie bar packed with semi-sweet chocolate chunks. 7 Brew calls it its take on a classic.

Two loaves round out the five: a Banana Bread Mocha Chip Loaf, made with ripe bananas and semi-sweet chocolate chips after the chain’s Banana Bread Mocha, and a Blueberry Streusel Loaf.

“Our guests have been asking for craveable snacks to accompany their favorite 7 Brew drinks,” Nick Chavez, 7 Brew’s chief marketing officer, said in the release.

Price, calories and where to find them

Each item is $3. The release says the lineup is available nationwide “at participating locations,” so not every stand may carry it. 7 Brew has more than 900 stands in 38 states.

The release gives no calorie counts, but 7 Brew’s menu board lists the bakery items at 280 to 340 calories. Neither names an end date.

The bakery case arrives with six dessert-inspired November drinks, including a Pecan Pie Breve and a Tiramisu Cold Brew.

Bars and chocolate chunks from our kitchen

None of these is a 7 Brew copycat, but the flavors overlap. Our Monster Cookie Bars are a peanut butter cookie dough with M&M’s, oats and chocolate chips, baked in one pan and cut into bars. For coffee and chocolate together, our Espresso Martini Cookies mix instant coffee and chopped chocolate-covered espresso beans into a cocoa dough, then finish with a white chocolate drizzle. And our Salted Caramel Chocolate Chunk Cookies fold chocolate chunks and chopped caramels into a brown sugar dough.
