Doughy Brings Its Cashew-Based Cookie Dough To Target In New 12-Cookie Flat Packs, In Five Flavors Sold Only There
Doughy, the cashew-based cookie dough brand, has five new flavors in flat 12-packs, and Doughy’s own website says each one is “New & only at Target”: Chocolate Chip, Fudgy Brownie, Birthday Cake, S’mores and Sugar Cookie. Doughy added all five to its online catalog on October 27, 2026, but doesn’t sell them there; the listings carry no price and send shoppers to Target.

Trade outlet Nosh reported on October 28 that the 6.7-ounce flat packs are going into about 500 Target stores, alongside new packaging with a new font and a cookie pictured on the front.
What’s in the pack
Doughy’s packshots show a 6.72-ounce (191-gram) refrigerated bag marked “Bakes 12 cookies,” with a picture of a single baked cookie on the front. The bags say gluten free and “crafted with cashews,” and list 4 grams of sugar per serving, or 3 for Sugar Cookie. The Chocolate Chip bag also says “8 simple ingredients.”
Doughy describes each flavor as dough that bakes into soft cookies:
- Chocolate Chip: the brand’s best seller, “loaded with rich chocolate chunks.”
- Fudgy Brownie: a rich chocolate dough that bakes into brownie cookies.
- Birthday Cake: sweet dough with classic cake batter flavor.
- S’mores: chocolate and toasty campfire flavors.
- Sugar Cookie: a sweet, buttery sugar cookie dough.
Across its range, Doughy’s homepage says its dough is gluten-free, grain-free, egg-free and dairy-free, and that cashew butter stands in for oil.
The holiday packs
Doughy’s homepage also advertises “New seasonal 9-packs,” marked “Limited time” and “New & only at Target.” Its holiday banner shows four bags: Sugar Cookie, Gingerbread, Chocolate Chip and Peppermint Bark.
Price and where to find them
Target hasn’t posted a price yet. Its website showed no Doughy listing when searched on October 29, so the flat packs may be in stores before they’re online. Doughy’s site points shoppers to the refrigerated section and has a store finder for Target locations.
Who makes Doughy
Doughy was founded by Kelly Ramey, a Santa Monica, California, entrepreneur. In a 2024 announcement, she said the dough was inspired by childhood memories of baking with her mom. That release said the brand had launched a year earlier and was sold at Erewhon and Sprouts; Nosh puts the brand at three years old. Before the flat packs, Doughy’s main product was a spoonable 6-ounce cup in Chocolate Chip, Brownie Batter, Peanut Butter and S’mores, which it sells on its own site for $8.99. Doughy’s homepage now lists it at Target, Whole Foods, Erewhon and Fresh Thyme.
Our own cookie dough
Neither of these is a copy of Doughy, and both use flour and butter rather than cashews. Our Edible Cookie Dough is brown sugar, butter, cream and mini chocolate chips stirred into flour sold as heat-treated, scooped into balls for the fridge. Monster Edible Cookie Dough adds peanut butter, oats, M&M’s, three kinds of chips and mini pretzels. For another refrigerated dough that skips gluten and dairy, see our story on Sweet Loren’s thin and crispy cookie dough.
