Great American Cookies Stuffs Two Mini Twix Bars Into A Snickerdoodle For The Holidays, Through December 31
Great American Cookies has a new limited-time cookie for the holidays: its classic cinnamon-sugar Snickerdoodle, stuffed with two Mini Twix bars. The chain announced the Snickerdoodle Twix Stuffed Cookie on Monday, November 2, and says it is available now through December 31.

The Twix goes in the middle, not on top. The chain’s online menu describes a warm cinnamon-sugar snickerdoodle “stuffed with real TWIX caramel, chocolate, and crunchy wafer in every bite.” In the photo on that menu, a broken cookie shows the chocolate-coated pieces tucked inside the dough.
Great American Cookies, which calls itself the home of the Original Cookie Cake, framed the launch as giving “stocking stuffer” a whole new meaning. Its announcement says the cookie builds on the popularity of its original stuffed cookie lineup, and calls the pairing a collaboration with Twix.
“There’s no better time than the holiday season to go all in on cookies,” Katie Thoms, the chain’s Vice President of Marketing, said in the announcement. She called the new cookie “a playful new take on a fan-favorite format.”
Price and where to find it
On the chain’s online ordering menu, the cookie sits under Limited Time Only and lists for $3.99 at its Lenox Mall store in Atlanta and its Westheimer Road store in Houston. It shares that section with a holiday Original Chocolate Chip Cookie made with red and green M&M’s.
Great American Cookies, owned by OHG Brands, started in 1977 with a family chocolate chip cookie recipe and now has more than 400 locations worldwide. The store finder on its ordering site shows which shops are near you and what each one has on the menu. The cookie is scheduled to stay through Thursday, December 31.
It isn’t the only snickerdoodle mash-up on shelves right now. On November 2, The Impulsive Buy posted a reader’s sighting of limited edition Hostess Snickerdoodle Twinkies at Walmart.
Snickerdoodles and Twix flavors at home
None of our recipes copy this cookie, but both halves have a home in our kitchen. Our classic snickerdoodle cookies use cream of tartar and a roll in cinnamon sugar, and our Pumpkin Snickerdoodle Cookies add pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice to the dough.
For the Twix side, our Twix Cookies top a baked butter cookie with melted caramel and milk chocolate, and our Twix Thumbprint Cookies hold the caramel in a buttery thumbprint under a chocolate drizzle. Both chase the candy bar’s flavors without any candy bars in the dough.
